Our approach
We co-regulate before we educate
We help students feel calm and safe before expecting them to learn. Strategies can differ depending on a student's needs; if there's an Occupational Therapist (OT) involved, we'd love to collaborate. If not, we're happy to use our own expertise to support each student's regulation and readiness to learn.
We encourage a holistic approach
Placing the student at the heart of all we do, we work closely with professionals to create a complete picture of support. By embedding therapy strategies into our daily teaching, we ask: why should a student only develop their speech and language skills during sessions with a therapist?

Lizzie's career has been guided by one thing: a deep passion for supporting and teaching children with SEND. After a BA Hons in Primary Education (QTS), specialising in SEND, she went on to work across specialist settings, always focused on making a real difference to how children experience learning.
Seeing how much children benefit from truly personalised support, Lizzie founded Unique to You to deliver bespoke educational programmes tailored to each learner.
Today she leads a trusted network of experienced specialist teachers who share that mission: transforming outcomes for children with SEND.
